| Ye, unfortunately, their date didn't go perfectly well. They still managed to spend some time together. Syr herself says it's always exciting to go on adventures with him so that's a plus. Typical DanMachi episode though. I hardly ever expected their date to have no interruptions. But, this episode gave them both a lot of time together so that's great. Truly though, Bell and Syr were charming to watch together imo. |

| Well looks like the date is turning into one big adventure trying to escape from Freya familia. And technically it's the first episode where we don't see a girl in lingerie luckily we got some Syl service at the end. The question now is will Bell be able to keep up with whatever is going to happen next. Syl is going for him with everything she has. Hestia was one lucky girl being able to have dinner with Ais. |
| The pacing is as fast rushed as ever for this adaptation. It must be a bit disconcerting for people who haven't read the source material how sometimes they jump from one place to another. Get the feeling that S4 had a more sedate tempo. That said, I'm happy they kept the bit from the cathedral which is kinda important to the story as a whole. At least they nailed some of the characterizations. Freya Familia's members are for the most part a bunch of assholes (a couple of exceptions here and there though). The animation at some points tho. They just gave us some static panels with music lol. |

| It was one thing after other in their date but that was amusing. Specially with even Ais getting involved. I wonder who the hero Syr is speaking of is, no clue. Also oh boi Syr about to take the jump on everyone. Bell's chastity is in danger. His reaction was hilarious. |

| Freya familia sure take their shadowing seriously. Amusing seeing the mistress waitresses shadow them in turn. The tale behind the church sure was a sad one. Syr's interactions with Bell though were pretty cute. Freya familia's ambush of the ship sure was heavy handed. Still perfect setting for Ais and the Benevolent mistress girls for counter ambushing them. Syr sure dropped one hell of a bombshell on Bell in the end there. |

I love it for some reason. ...and it was a happy marriage. ☺️  @Farabeuf As someone who didn't read the LN, I didn't get that "bad vibes" where they skipped some scenes in this episode. It's rather fulfilling to watch this episode because of Syr's character. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Considering how uptight the Freya Familia is with their surveillance of Bell and Syr, it did make me happy to see the pair give their watchers the slip so easily. XD Thanks to this, we got more time with Bell and Syr enjoying each others company while exploring more of what Orario has to offer. The cathedral trip and the backstory behind was very insightful, while the dinner on a huge boat was rather beautiful before the Freya Familia caught wind and got onboard. Thankfully, Ais and Syr's colleagues from the tavern all bought her and Bell enough time to escape by jumping into the water. After successfully escaping again and getting a good insight of the Heroes bridge, the pair are now crashing at a small inn for the night, with only one bed to share. Oh la la! =3 All in all, this was a pretty fun episode. I still find Bell's reactions, especially the last scene, make me crack up a bit. I can't wait to see how he'll try and handle staying in the same room as Syr next time. |
| Yeah couldn't care less about whatever train of emotions this girl was, and is, going through. And everything around this date kind of shares the same feelings, I mean why should we care about someone who, till now, was there to fill the number of girls this dude has scored just by existing.. seriously, I can't even remember a single freaking scene where she was doing something other than going gaga over "bElL-sAmA". Really though, so much for a pussy, which mind you, mister chad won't get a piece of, that they had to bring so many fucking nobodies just to assert how important this date or whatever is in the context of everything. |

| Just when I thought Syr couldn’t get any cuter she blows away my expectations she’s beyond perfect omg I’m in love. The date with she and Bell was soo good. You could just feel how free she had to feel for once after being cooped up with all those guards constantly watching her every move and dictating her life to her. Fuck that, she deserves to be happy and if only for 20 minutes today, she got that. I feel like they didn’t touch on all the Orario lore for nothing. I hope that Fulland stuff isn’t an allegory for Syr’s fate, but I just feel a little ominous cloud hanging over this season and I’m concerned. Freya familia chasing after Syr and storming the restaurant was hilarious. Too bad for them they ran into Ais who does NOT play about her man 😭 I normally hate Ais but fairs she looked good today and allowed Syr and Bell to enjoy the rest of their evening so respect where it’s due. Speaking of which.. ending the night at an inn.. uh oh Bell how’re you gonna get out of this one lmao. |

| The date was actually quite nice, surprised I would say that. Wallenstein defending Bell was .. something. She feels like such a klutz but maybe Bells real love interest is mutual after all? Bell, beeing an anime main character and all, must viciously defend his chastity at all cost. PS: Cathedrals existing in a world where Gods are real and walking among you is.. interesting |

| are we done with fillers now? I have been skimming through these "romantic date" episodes (very disappointing it has been 3 episodes for teenage romantic gag crap). Lets get back to the dungeon and deal with some real challenges. |
| looks like the Freya Fam is as insane as ever. ironically that 24/7 zoned out blonde is somehow the only one of them with a cool head on their shoulders. This all seems pointless since we know Bell doesn't like Syr like that/wouldn't fall for Freya like she's not even on his radar. Guessing there will be another outrageous fight next time, kind of a dumb plotline. |
| This episode was a lot o fun to watch. I wonder if that story of Undine and the knight is foreshadowing something in the future? I am also curious to know who Syr is as well, we might find out eventually. |

| The Syr date continues, lots of cute moments that were had throughout, and it’s especially nice now since they were able to hoodwink the Freya familia and escape their watchful eyes, and you could tell Syr was having the time of her life during both the chases and the more intimate moments with Bell like at the cathedral. If it wasn’t for Aiz and Ryu, I’d think Syr is Bell’s Disney princess based on the way these last two episodes have played out, he’s saving her from a life of imprisonment essentially and going as far to hide her from her pursuers, it just feels like a very classic love story, like some others here I’m finding it hard to not say she’s best girl lol, but based on that lore Bell talked about (and also the OP visuals) I don’t think Syr is Bell’s Disney princess unfortunately. Also the boat scene was pretty fun, wasn’t expecting Aiz and the tavern ladies to pull up for Bell, those Freya familia guys are real assholes but I did really enjoy that bit, also ngl the way the water looked when Syr and Bell fell in looked kinda hilarious since it looks like they didn’t actually animate the splash lol. And the end teased us with a potential Syr and Bell smash bros session, it’s not really a question on whether Bell will go through with it or not but I liked Bell’s reaction and the idea that it could happen, we just know it won’t lol. |
| It is unfortunate, I always liked Syr, but she literally is the worst kind of headache that a woman can be, completely selfish and does not care about anything, but her own desire. That is not love for Bell, she loves what Bell can do for her, or so she believes, fulfilling her own desire to have her very own personal Odr, but she is forcing herself on him too, which will only turn him off. I don't like what she has become in the show, it is sad. Besides, I have always been on Ryuu's side to be with Belle, she actually loves him sincerely, last season finally brought this to light, she was so cute. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| This date is becoming an adventure. The beautiful violin music during the dinner on the ship was so romantic. Then followed by fighting, a plunge into the sea and a walk on the bridge. Oh my. My heart. Bell's multiple Eeeh!s at the end of the episode were comical. Can't wait to see what happens next. |

| Part of me is thinking this won't end well, just like the tale of the hero from the cathedral, I feel like Syr will disappear at any moment, but I believe that Bell will not make the same mistake Saint Fulland did. How far can we go to protect this girl?   Ais protecting Bell against the Freya Familia makes me want it to escalate and have the whole Loki Familia be involved, tho I don't think that would happen lol I love the foggy night with no one else around, Bell and Syr just enjoying their moment. Gomen Ryu 😭 Lastly, I still can't feel sajou no hana's song for Syr. Ryu's Arc is just way too memorable to me. |

| This is annoying. Syr has Freya's permission to go on the date, so the Familia's non-stop interference isn't warranted. Syr hasn't earned the right to be so possessive of Bell (unlike other characters). This arc can't resolve soon enough for me. |
