By the way in my opinion Manga ending is good Because manga ending is enjoyable and other reason is hate himawari and cosmos 2nd this anime genre not harem It's gerne are school, comedy, romance So proper ending will be good Anyway its good ending not best ending I hope LN gave best ending |

I actually like both anime and manga ending. Anime ending - revolves more on friendship. Allowed all of the girls to have a harmonious friendship with Pansy by MC's hilarious harem confession; retain his friendship with Sun-Chan; and subtly show MC's confession to Pansy in the end. Manga ending - shows that Joro gets the girl (what most people want to see) in an obvious manner. Both endings were entertaining and satisfying to watch, IMO. I don't read the Light Novel so I don't know if it will have a different ending to the anime and manga as well. |

I did not expect a "bros before hoes" bait ending before the actual end when Joro and Pansy had that moment. Just to get this out of my system, after Pansy told Joro she loved him so much Joro replied with "the moon is beautiful, isn't it." which is a roundabout way to say "I love you" in Japan. I don't read the LN but it appears the anime and manga made an original end with both Pansy winning, manga was more showy tho while the anime did it in a more... in character way of how Joro was presented in the anime, he isnt good with words, rather rough to be honest. That aside I love how the random girls in the ova actually had a part and wasnt just there for no reason other than to show Joro's a nice guy, they be playing some 4D chess there, Sun's baseball battle got me teary for some reason, but thats mostly cause Im a big fan of baseball anime namely Major, so whenever there's a tearjerking moment in a baseball match I tend to be a little soft. I find it hilarious that Sun did the final title drop and not our 2 main characters, at first I was a little pissed cause we kept getting some Sun with his baseball matches and Joro doing unnecessary shit like helping strangers, little did I know it was all part of the bigger picture, this anime never ceases to amaze and make me laugh! what a ride this has been! definitely one of the more unique harem romcom's out there, you aint gonna see your harem pull a bros before hoes shit bait in the end before ending with the actual official pair. Anyways amazing end to an amazing series! I normally dont give harem shows a big score but this really hit me in all the right places comedy and romance wise. 9/10! gonna miss this random goofy yet adorable series. Edit: The anime wanted to make the "The moon is beautiful, isnt it" so obvious as much as possible that if you look closely near the end the moon isn't even that visible cause of the cloud lol. |

It was sooooooo cheesyyyy! But good ending overall bcz if he simply just ended up with pansy than it would be bad like really bad ending, This route was better but him when they were sitting on the real antagonist of the story(bench kun) I thought for a split second that oga was gonna tell him he's gay and confess his love for joro😂😂😂😅😅 Thank God that didn't happen, overall the best thing about this movie was when he told all the girls that he love them, bcz in my opinion that would be the best ending for any harem anime, a big hot group orgy |

YuyoGzm said: 5 of 5.... because it was very good and entertaining.... But if im more precise.. this becomes a 8/10.. And now, just 5 more things to say: 1. I Liked the way the OVA, had the same pace and rythm that the series had. 2. Despite being so RUSHED compared to the novel, they made a pretty good job. 3. The only detail i found in the OVA, was the same detail in the whole series.... "TOO PREDICTABLE"... so obvious that it seems to be on purpose. 4. For me this series was a rollercoaster, too bad and too good episodes... but the last ones were just good and very good like this OVA.. so if we get a 2nd Season i hope it is more like the second half & OVA. 5. And Lastly but the most important thing to say: #TeamSASANQUA Best Waifu indeed. PS: Already pre-ordered my Sanshokuin UCI Figure.... BUT WHERE IS MY SASANQUA FIGURE!!! UNFORGIVABLE!!!!! You probably seen the novel so you think is obvious / predictable. For for me this OVA completely caught me by surprise. I was expecting the spotlight being focused on the harem and Joro, however it seems to me the real protagonist of this OVA is Sun-chan. Like literally this OVA is made to complete Sun-chan's character arc, which is missing/ absent in the original show. They even use the title "Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo" for Sun-chan in the end (pretty much like how they use it for EP3) |

I didn't notice that meaning Thanks I search Google and find this すね | tsuki ga kirei desu ne (The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?) The phrase above doesn’t literally mean “the moon is beautiful, isn’t it?” in Japanese. It actually means “I love you”. When the novelist Souseki Natsume (1867-1916) was an English teacher, one of his students translated the English phrase “I love you” as 我君を愛す | ware kimi o aisu. Soseki pointed out that Japanese people don’t say 愛す | aisu (to love), and that the best translation would actually be 月が綺麗ですね | tsuki ga kirei desune (the moon is beautiful, isn’t is?). At the time, Japanese people were more reserved than they are at present day. They hesitated to express feelings of love directly. I, for one, like this expression 月が綺麗ですね | tsuki ga kirei desune (the moon is beautiful, isn’t is?) -- it sounds literary and intelligent |

I read some spoilers of the light novel sometime ago and it seems that Pansy has a twin sister. The twin sister is the one who saw Joro on the baseball game and the one who fell in love with him, however she has a sickness and couldn't attend school. Dunno if true or not since I haven't read the novel yet, so take it as a grain of salt. |

I don't usually post on forums, but I have been thinking about this OVA for the past few days and truly think it's the best OVA I have ever watched. Well, to be fair, it's not just an extra episode/special for the series, and it was more of a completion to the anime. (I know that it isn't the final conclusion, as there is a LN I believe?) I especially loved the twist. For me at least, it was unexpected and a very satisfying way to end the anime. My favourite part no doubt was when Sun said the title of the anime towards Joro 😭 Just like when Joro had said it about Pansy. |

I actually didn't give a good rating for the original (6/10), however, this OVA completely changed my opinion about the serie, and makes all the earlier part of the story turns into foreshadowing of future events. I like that feeling when anime turns something trivia from the early part into foreshadowing of future key moments. It is such a nice touch, showing that the author actually thought about the big picture for its story, and not just write random stuff/ random story in the middle part. I like the final twist either :) |

Even tho i think the Sun chan ending would have been really funny (which it was), it wasn't really a Sun-chan ending, but he rather actually went with Pansy, he said at the end "the moon is beautiful, isn't it?" which if you watched something like koe no katachi you can tell something like that also happens in that movie/manga. So yea, he didn't end up with Sun, but he had to go with Sun becuase they are best friends now, now that they actually are honest with each other. Here it is explained: https://www.italki.com/article/909/confessing-your-love-in-japanese?hl=en Also even tho i felt confused with the game they where playing for like half of the whole thing, still a great ending tbh. Unlike the anime, that i kinda started to lose engagment on it while i was watching it, this was way better, watched the whole thing with no distraction whatsoever |

Oh I'm the star of the baseball team no one likes me boo hoo, oh I'm a super hot and smart girl I think I'll dress like a nerd and hide in the library because no one likes sexy smart women boo hoo. 9_9 You kinda explain it yourself lolz. They don't want those people to be their friends/ love interest. Those who're only after their fame/ look/ glory, we call them fair-whether friends. The anime did explain all these. Sun-chan was kinda faking himself the whole time, and he's tired of "acting" like a star in front of everyone despite he's an introvert (Trust me, I'm an introvert and I know his feeling, and HATED staying in crowd), because as soon as he shows any sign of being "uncool", he'd lose everything. Only Joro can accept him no matter who he is like = true friend. As for Sumireko , did you even watch the series or even pay a tiny slim of attention at all? At middle school Sumireko never hide her look, and lots of people are after her just for her look. Lots of girls jealous about her , and many guys just want a relationship with her. And after the Hazuki incident, she decided to transfer to another school and keep a low profile by hiding her look. Did you even pay attention to the serie? Yes I watched the whole thing remember when super introvert and nice guy Sun tried to rape Pansy? |

I’m kind of torn. I think the OVAs wrapped up the series nicely enough. Joro’s master plan worked the entire time. Pretty nice seeing everyone last bonds come full circle. Sun-chan got some more back story. Joro and Sun-chan’s friendship got more depth to it (the hat scene was just great). The girls who seemed to be against Joro by giving away their barrettes previously, gave their reasons to their rivals and at least swayed them. Pansy and Joro had a decent scene to end on there. What makes me sad though, is that the studio said that with the OVAs, that that’s where they were ending the series. They were upfront that they weren’t doing a second season. They actually said that when the last TV episode aired and the OVAs were announced for a later date, even though the LN is still ongoing. It’s a bummer because I genuinely enjoyed the characters and how things were actually developing pretty nicely, but unless another studio gets to do it, this is all we’ll get. And even if another studio gets it, the same quality isn’t promised. For anyone who’s read the LN, is there any reason why they obscured Pansy’s face during the flashback with her and Sun-chan on the bench? It’s not like it wasn’t blatantly clear who it was, but I’m curious if there was a story reason behind that; seeing as how we’ll most likely never see it in anime form. |

such a perfect end, and such a great series im glad i waited this long to even start this series, i didnt even know that a ova was even coming out till i started watching this series just yesterday and watched it all in one sitting (just how much i loved the series) and then to my surprise an ova just so happen to come out and it being the end (such great timing) anyway this series is 10/10 for me enjoyed everything especially the characters and once again harem series where the MC dont act like a reg harem MC are always amazing lastly cant say this for most series but im completely satisfied with how things ended with this series again it was a perfect end also was nice of them to finally show the girl of their past though kinda sucks that they took this long for it to happen i know the LN is still ongoing so if anything else ever do come id be happy but if this is truly the end for the anime then im happy with it one more thing all the girls was nice but in the end my faves was Asaka Mayama Aoi Hinata Sakura Akino and with that said thats it from me amazing series will rewatch someday in the future |

So, when they say "Harem ending" this really does define it............ So, when Sun Chan said that monologue "Are you the only one who loves me?" I'm guessing that that was bromance thing and not a yaoi thing, right? Ok, so far only pansy is the only one who went back to Joro, so can we say that Pansy get's Joro's move that he only said that he loves everyone cu'z he doesn't want anybody to feel bad???? |

It was a great surprise for me how much I liked this episode, since I don't remember the 12 normal episodes being that good, maaybe it's the effect of 110 mins in a row, but still, really a good episode and a good ending for this anime. Every girl rejected and the best friend still best friend, loved it. Anyways Sun-chan being hella gay for Joro was good af, and the Sumireko ending was the best, since sorry not sorry she is the best one. |

This ending was insultingly idiotic. The last few episodes of the main series went out of their way to criticise and condemn the type of harem protagonist that knows how all the girls feel but refuses to do anything about it, yet here we are with Joro doing that very same thing and being praised for it. Literally, what was the point of any of this when Joro is no better than Hose to begin with? The main show was inconsistent in terms of parodying the harem genre while also playing well within its tropes (in other words, having its cake and eating it too), but this episode took that to an absurd degree and completely undercut everything the show did up to this point. The fact that fucking Sun-chan of all people, the guy who casually threatened to assault Pansy and never received any real reprimand for it, ends up being the main character at the end of the day is just the last insult I'm willing to take. Congratulations, Oresuki, you completely ruined all the good you did with this disaster of a finale. I honestly, can't think of any worse way for this show to have ended than this. 4/10 |
