- I have added the pros and cons, according to the final result and to what I have read about them.
Which one do you like best? I really like the Uv Resin but, after doing some research, I am in doubt...I think I will look for a dupe.
Info on Renaissance Wax
Provides crystal clear, even and dry protection. Oily surfaces attract dust and dirt. Over time, oiled surfaces dry out and no longer protect against external influences. Beeswax remains sticky and greasy to the touch, so it also attracts dust and dirt. Varnishes often shine too hard and look unnatural. On uneven surfaces, it tends to run and collect in deeper areas, which then discolor. Renaissance wax, on the other hand, dries hard and free of grease.
The benefits of Renaissance Wax:
Versatile
Renaissance Wax is and can be used on practically any surface. Renaissance wax has been used by professional restorers and conservators for more than 40 years to restore and protect precious museum pieces. It is used on wood, metal, marble and other rocks, horn, ivory, leather, paper etc. Renaissance Wax is applied to furniture, carvings, paintings, photographs, jewelry, statues, clocks, antique armor, tools, paper kites and model airplanes , (string) instruments etc.
pH neutral
Renaissance wax is and does not contain acids, which natural waxes such as beeswax and carnauba wax do contain and therefore damage the precious surfaces of antiques over time.
Does not
stain It does not drip or discolor or darken. After drying it is invisible even on white paper! On antiques, it leaves a frosted glass without polishing. If desired, a crystal clear result can be obtained after application by rubbing it with a soft cloth.
Micro-crystalline structure
Renaissance Wax's micro-crystalline structure is much finer than that of natural waxes and therefore has a higher resistance to moisture. It provides a harder, secure and invisible barrier against clouding, corrosion, fingerprints and oil, water and alcohol stains. It has also proven itself against weathering of, for example, bronze statues in the open air.
Cheap to use
When applied correctly - in thin layers - Renaissance waxes are extremely economical to use and the costs are comparable to regular waxes.
Easy to
use Make sure the surfaces to be treated are clean and dry. Then apply sparingly with a soft cloth. After this, the surface can be left matt, or polished for a shiny end result.
Easy removal
Restoration requires reversible protection. Renaissance wax can therefore easily be removed with white spirit.

Grazie per i tuoi consigli! Che resina hai usato?
Hello, I am glad this video helped you.
I have used a cheap rasin( Hard UV rasin glue) bought from AliExpress. It is used for jewelry and other crafts.
